We’re back!!!! Hopefully anyways. It’s crazy to think that we are now halfway through 2020. I think we can all agree this year has been something else. During this time, you’d think I’d have had all the time in the world to get a plethora of posts ready to go up on here. Sadly, that is not the case.
This pandemic has not altered our day to day life that much. I mean, it kept us from going to church, out to eat, and limited visiting family. Oh, and instead of going to the grocery store and shopping, we started doing the grocery pick up to minimize contact with others. But Justin still went to work every day and I stayed home with little Oliver.
That all being said, I’ve not made the time to get this all back up and running like I would have liked to do. Until now. Now that we are halfway through the year, I am making a new resolution. Post at least once a week. It’ll most likely be some sort of mommy/baby/household post. But we’ll just have to see for sure. Just like us, this site will be growing and changing as we grow and change.
Hopefully, during this pandemic, if you’ve had more time on your hands than normal, you have taken the time to work on yourself in some way. Or work on a goal that you’ve had. If you have, I’d love to hear about what you worked on! Leave us a comment and let me know!
Before I end this post, I want to leave you with a thought. The other day my husband wrote an article for our other website about how this pandemic has exposed a love for the world that we’ve all had hidden inside. Since this began, all we’ve heard people talk about how they miss going shopping, or miss going out to eat. You hardly heard of people talking about how they’ve cherished the extra time they’ve had to be able to study God’s word. Or witness to others through their obedience of the government’s recommendations for the public safety.
Please take time to examine how you’ve spent your newly found free time. If all you’ve done is think about all the things you can’t do, and not focused on growing in your faith, make a new resolution to change that. Make a resolution to end this year closer to God that you began it.
If you’re new to this blog and have questions about faith, please feel free to reach out to us. Also, we have lots of great articles on faith here and even more on our other website.
