For today’s post, we wanted to take a little time and go over a few things. Things that you may or may not know about the FamLee. If you’ve been following the blog for a while you’ve had the opportunity to learn some of our likes and dislikes. You’ve been able to follow our adventures. You have even had the opportunity to hear some things that God has laid on our hearts to share with you. That being the case, we want to give you the opportunity to find out even more about us!
We Met at Work
So the first thing that you probably don’t know about us is we met at work. I’d started working at a call center in August of 2014 and by May of 2015, I was promoted to supervisor. As a supervisor, I had to go to IT a lot to get assistance for my team members. Well in June of 2015, Justin came to that same call center. You guessed it, He was hired on to the IT team. For the same shift, I worked. I was constantly in need of IT assistance due to having a team of new hires. This lead to Justin and I becoming friends. From there we started spending more and more time together until I finally admitted that we were dating.
I Am Older Than Justin
Another interesting fact about the FamLee is that I am about 2 years older than Justin. You may be asking yourself, did I ever think I’d marry a younger man? The answer is no. I was actually pretty against dating someone younger than me. It was one of the reasons I was apprehensive about this tall, handsome guy trying to integrate himself into my life. His efforts paid off obviously. So for all those guys stuck in the friend-zone. Persistence pays off! Sometimes. If you’re lucky.
Justin is 17 Inches Taller Than Me
If you follow us on social media, you may have noticed that Justin is much taller than me. Our height difference is exaggerated due to the fact that Justin is pretty tall and I am pretty short. I am only 5’1″ and Justin is 6’6″. So when we stand next to each other our height difference is impossible to ignore. Our height difference is also one of the things that we love the most about the other. I absolutely love how tall Justin is and Justin adores how short I am.
