Like many other music lovers, I am constantly on the hunt for the best app to use. I remember when there was really only Pandora or your own music library available. As technology has advanced, so have our options for streaming music. From our posts, Best Christian Music Apps!, you know that we have tried our fair share of music apps. Our current favorite seems to be the Amazon Music app.
Amazon Music comes with your Amazon Prime membership. There is also an option for Amazon Music Unlimited. This option gives you access to millions of songs and weekly new releases with a special pricing.
Our FamLee has the normal Amazon Music. We opted to stick with that as to not add another monthly subscription. The Amazon Music features a growing selection of over 2 million songs, always ad-free and on-demand. What’s not to love?
1. Pre-made Playlists
For those of you who come from Pandora and love playlists that are ready for you. Well, don’t fret! That is not something you will miss out on! There are playlists galore to choose from. There are playlists for every type of music you’d want. If you’ve read, I Listen to Only Christian Music and Here is Why you know that we only listen to Christian music. Thankfully this app has music from every style of Christian music. From contemporary to rap. This app has it all! Not only that it already has playlists of those styles too!
2. Create Your Own Playlists
One of the things I love so much about this app is that you can create your own playlist. You have the option of selecting your favorite songs and creating your dream playlist. For our FamLee that is huge! We love so many different styles of music that this option has been amazing for us! We’ve created our ultimate playlist that features songs from all of our favorite artist and features all of our favorite styles of music.
3. Offline Streaming
Nothing is worse than trying to listen to music and not having a strong enough connection to play your favorite songs. Whether it is because you are in the mountains, miles away from cell service. Or you are in a building that blocks your signal. Not having access to music when you want always puts a damper on your day. Thankfully Amazon Music offers offline streaming so you never have to be without your jams.
4. Stations
Not only are there amazing playlists at your disposal, but there are also stations available! If you search for an artist or song, there are stations available to pick from as well as playlists inspired that the search. Everything you could possibly want, all in one place.

There are a few things to remember though about Amazon Music. Not every song is available on the normal Prime membership. There are some songs that are only available with the Unlimited subscription. If you have Amazon Music and find that most of your favorite songs are not available, Unlimited does offer a 30-day free trial.
